Shipping Policy

Lively Run Dairy Shipping Policy

To place an order over the phone, please call (607)-532-4647 Monday through Friday, 10AM-5PM or email us at orders@livelyrun.com.

Order by Tuesday and receive your package by Friday of the same week! We ship cheese on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Orders East of the Mississippi River (excluding Florida)

(Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin) 

All orders ship Fedex 2-day shipping to preserve quality for a flat rate of $25 per box. Orders $75 and up ship FREE.

Orders West of the Mississippi River and Florida

(Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming)

Our flat rate shipping cost is $75 for orders West of the Mississippi River and Florida. Please call (607)-532-4647 or email us at orders@livelyrun.com to check in about more economic shipping options.

How our Cheeses are Shipped

Our cheeses are shipped via FedEx for 2-day shipping. The cheese/perishables are packed in a box with insulation, with a minimum of one ice pack to keep it cool during its journey to you.

Shipping Time

For quality reasons, we only ship via FedEx Tuesday and Wednesday of every week with 1-2 days of transit time, depending on the season.

All orders placed by Tuesday will arrive by Friday of the same week.

If you need a Saturday delivery option, please call us at 607-532-4647 or email us at orders@livelyrun.com and we will estimate your shipping price.

During the holiday season or other peak times, we may need additional days to process your order and regular shipping timelines may be adjusted to avoid FedEx shipping holidays.

Cheese Quality

It is okay if your cheese is not refrigerator temperature upon arrival. Cheese is a preserved food, so it is originally meant to be stored at room temperature.

Upon arrival, the ice pack will have thawed but the cheese should still feel cool to the touch. If you have any concerns about the condition of your cheese, refrigerate right away and take stock a few hours later. If at that time you still have concerns, take a picture and let us know by emailing orders@livelyrun.com.

Signature Upon Delivery

Fedex will leave most packages at your door if it safe to do so. Requiring signatures lead to delivery delays, which could leave to your cheese spoiling if left our of refrigeration too long.

Return Policy

We will guarantee that our cheeses arrive at your door in a timely manner and that they will not be damage or spoiled. We will work with FedEx to replace any product that is damaged as a result of delayed shipment or mishandling.

However, we will not be responsible for products that are damaged or spoiled because of an incorrect delivery address or unopened shipments, including recipients who are out of town or unable to receive shipments. We recommend that you make sure that someone will be available to receive the shipment, including recipients who are receiving the cheese as a gift.

Multiple Address Delivery on a Single Order

Each shipment must be processed as a separate order. Please call us at 607-532-4647 or email us at orders@livelyrun.com for assistance if you are experiencing difficulty.

Volume Discounts

Volume discount for orders totaling over $300 (20%), $500 (30%) and $750 (40%). These discounts are only valid for orders shipping to a single address. Please call (607)-532-4647 or email us at orders@livelyrun.com with your order so that we can apply the discount.
