    Cayuga Blue

    Lively Run Dairy Cayuga Blue is a natural rind goat blue cheese.  Cayuga Blue is aged for a minimum of two months, during which time it develops rich, complex, and robust flavor notes, with a mild and balanced finish. In contrast with many traditional European blue cheeses that can be overpowering in flavor and texture, Cayuga Blue is more balanced and creamy.

    Dill Chèvre

    Our Dill Chèvre is very unique to Lively Run Dairy and a favorite of many of our customers. Our fresh dill is grown locally and complements the chèvre extremely well. Sprinkled over a salad, this cheese pairs nicely with fish dishes. It is also excellent as an appetizer on crackers with smoked salmon.

    Finger Lakes Gold

    Finger Lakes Gold is a hard cheese made from pasteurized goat’s milk. Aged for at least three months, it is characterized by a beautiful yellow-gold rind and a white, firm but creamy paste. Finger Lakes Gold is both milky and nutty, a mellow cheese that is perfectly at home on a cheeseboard as well as in the kitchen.

  • Seneca Blue Moon

    Seneca Blue Moon

    Lively Run Dairy Seneca Blue Moon is a mold-ripened cheese, a hybridization of Chèvre and Cayuga Blue. Seneca Blue Moon begins life as a traditional chèvre. Blue mold is added, and the cheese is aged for six weeks, resulting in a beautiful blue rind on the outside of the log. While the rind has a fairly mild portobello mushroom flavor, the paste of the cheese develops a slightly sharp blue flavor while retaining the creamy texture of traditional chèvre.

    Za’atar Chevre

    Our Za’atar Chèvre is very unique to Lively Run Dairy. Za’atar is a Mediterranean spice composed primarily of sumac, thyme and sesame seeds. Sprinkled over flat bread, this cheese pairs wonderfully with Falafel. It is also excellent as an appetizer on pita chips with humus.
