Rob’s Historic Trumansburg Egg Salad Sandwich


  • Bread (preferably baguette)
  • Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • Mustard
  • Lake Effect Cheddar
  • Finger Lakes Gold
  • Chevre
  • Optional Items: Bacon, tomatoes, pesto, carmalized onions, and siracha


  1. Cut baguette in half (long way)
  2. Add oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper on baguette and cook in the oven for 12 minutes at 420 degrees.
  3. Turn on frying pan high, add butter. Then turn down to medium.
  4. While the pan is heating up, hop Lake Effect Cheddar and Finger Lakes Gold and then add cheese to bowl with chevre, mayonaise, and mustard.
  5. Crack eggs into pan and beat
  6. Remove eggs from the heat and add to bowl with cheese, mayonaise, and mustard.
  7. Add optional items to bread, and then add eggs and cheese
  8. Add siracha (optional) and enjoy!
