Rob’s Historic Trumansburg Egg Salad Sandwich
Ingredients
- Bread (preferably baguette)
- Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Butter
- Eggs
- Mustard
- Lake Effect Cheddar
- Finger Lakes Gold
- Chevre
- Optional Items: Bacon, tomatoes, pesto, carmalized onions, and siracha
Directions
- Cut baguette in half (long way)
- Add oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper on baguette and cook in the oven for 12 minutes at 420 degrees.
- Turn on frying pan high, add butter. Then turn down to medium.
- While the pan is heating up, hop Lake Effect Cheddar and Finger Lakes Gold and then add cheese to bowl with chevre, mayonaise, and mustard.
- Crack eggs into pan and beat
- Remove eggs from the heat and add to bowl with cheese, mayonaise, and mustard.
- Add optional items to bread, and then add eggs and cheese
- Add siracha (optional) and enjoy!
