Muranda Cheese Company is known mostly for their Colby, British Raw Milk Cheddar, Blue, and Red Buddy, as well as 10 other unique flavors. They have clean and healthy cows on site, as well as beautiful tasting room. They are open seven days a week from 10:00 to 5:00.
Engelbert Farms
Engelbert Farms is a certified organic dairy farm (certified by Vermont Organic Farmers) located in Nichols, NY. Along with cheese and dairy products, they offer organic certified beef, beef, pork, veal, and vegetables. They are open for tastings Friday and Saturday 10:00 to 3:00, or by appointment.

Cayuga Lake Wine Trail
The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail was the first organized and longest running wine trail in New York, established in 1983. Since then, the Trail has become a model for other wine trails both in New York and around the country. With 17 wineries, one cidery, one meadery, four distilleries, and countless other businesses involved, the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail has something for everyone!

Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery
Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery, located in a beautiful rustic barn on Cayuga Lake, is a beloved partner of Lively Run Dairy. Cayuga Ridge’s wines pair beautifully with Lively Run Cheese – most particularly CREW’s Chancellor with Lively Run’s Blue Yonder, CREW’s Reserve Chardonnay with Lively Run’s Finger Lakes Gold, and CREW’s Cabernet Franc with Lively Run’s Gorge Trail Gouda.

Hosmer Winery
Hosmer Winery is located on Cayuga Lake and creates a superb wine product. They are mostly known for their Dry Riesling, but have other great wines, including their Dry Rose, which pairs beautifully with Lively Run’s Feta, their Sparkling Wine, which pairs well with Lively Run’s Cayuga Blue, and their renown Dry Riesling, which pairs wonderfully with Lively Run’s Chevre.
Bellwether Hard Cider
Bellwether Hard Cider is located on Cayuga Lake and is only 7 minutes away from Lively Run Dairy. They are a member of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and specialize in the production of hard cider, which is growing in popularity in the United States. Their Heritage hard cider pairs wonderfully with Lively Run’s Lake Effect Cheddar and their King Baldwin hard cider pairs well with Lively Run’s Blue Yonder.

At the Cider House, they feature their own Good Life Cider as well as offering an amazing menu with produce and meats grown right at their farm as well as products from other Finger Lakes based producers.

Hopshire Farm and Brewery
Hopshire Farm & Brewery is operated by Diane Gerhart and Randy Lacey as a family owned business. They have combined our belief in New York agriculture, local foods and great beer into a brewery that will use as many local ingredients as possible to product high quality beers of several styles.
Lively Run Dairy’s “Shire” cheese uses a goodly amount of Hopshire’s Scottish Ale and won a gold medal at the American Cheese Society’s 2023 competition.
